I contacted Vortex Law and they promised to help me. In the end they only gave me what I already had and when it came to help finish my case they left me high and dry. They said they would stay with me until my modification was done and that they would make sure that the bank would start submitting my payments to the credit bureau. When the modification papers came they were no where to be found and I ended up signing the papers with out the legal advise I was promised. Now after 3 months of payments, the bank is telling me that they never received anything that shows that I wanted to keep my home and that I need to submit more papers. I have reached out to Vortex Law and they still are not answering the phone or their messages. They are not answering their email either. I guess I wasted the $4000. that I paid them because they really did nothing for me in the end. There is more to this but this is all I will type in here. I advise looking for a different law firm to any and all future clients.
PLEASE CALL VORTEX BEFORE YOU CALL ANYONE ELSE. Eddie, Jon, Stephanie (& others) were so empathetic & began working on our case immed. Always gave me updates & never minded if I called re: ltr or phone call that scared me from mortgage co. We have our life back. We have lived in our home since 88. Moved here in 20’s, now we are in our 60’s. Could not fathom moving. They relieved us of immense pressure & stress. PLEASE CONTACT THEM AND DONT WAIT ANOTHER DAY. GOD BLESS anyone else suffering. This post is an update from when I first contacted them.
PLS DON’T CALL ANYONE UNTIL YOU HAVE TALKED TO VORTEX LAW GROUP. Jon, Stephanie and Eddie (who did so much not in his job description to save our house). They we’re very upfront with us regarding cost and we were in constant communication with them. They addressed every bit of correspondence from my mortgage company so I did not have to. They took care of the phone calls. They gave us such a sense of relief I cannot adequately describe it. Every day was like someone living on death row and you never know when your day is going to come. We could not trust Bank of America and tried to get a modification for over 2 years. They lost everything at least a dozen times. Then out of the blue you got it foreclosure letter because you took the forbearance program (which is the biggest scam in history). They lied to you and say that it will help you recover after being off from covid, all it does is allow them to say that you are 180 days past due and they are immediately foreclosing on your home. We are in our early 60s and have lived in our home since we were in our twenties. The only place we have ever known and the thought of losing it was more than we could bear. Vortex gave us that bit of sanity in our lives that we had been missing for so long. I will attest that no one else should be contacted until you contact them. You will not be sorry. Trust me miracles do happen everyday. I pray for whomever is going through this awful situation. I’m a firm believer that I was truly meant to contact these people because after my initial name and address sent to them with my problem, be very next morning at 8:00 Jon called me. It was as if he was reading my mind telling me that I’ve experienced lost documents, missed phone calls by my loan officer, etc everything we had been experiencing. Please if you love your home it is never too late to call them.
Safora did absolutely nothing for me as a foreclosure defense client! Took my money wasted my precious time! I would never recommend her or Vortex Law Group for anyone or anything! Communication sucks! Professionalism Sucks! They will be a waste of time & money! A college student could write a better draft then these people! Misspelling, charging a filing fee which was never filed etc n u will pay for that service also! Oh wait u will pay for service to not get service! Never recommend her or this law group
I want to thank Stephanie, Safora, Jon Hayes and everyone who worked hard to keep me in my home. I was a day from foreclosure with no clue on what to do and they help me. My loan has been modified and I am staying in my home. Through the entire process they always answer my calls and responded to what ever I had to ask. I pray God bless your practice and family.
